Planning an event, or looking to lighten up your organisation?
What do we talk about and explore?
Human Behaviour, EQ, & Understanding: We know organisations are full of these strange, fleshy things called people — and if you’re like us, you’re interested in trying to understand people better. Joe has a background in psychology, and Paul’s facilities management business employs over 1,500 staff across Australia. More importantly, we’re both relentless people-watchers.
Humour & the Price of Seriousness: One of, if not the biggest obstacles to well-functioning organisations is excessive seriousness. There’s no reason we can’t learn and perform well without enjoying ourselves — in fact, it might be the best way. We draw on personal examples and explore where the roots of our bias towards self-importance lies. We attempt to bring as much humor and fun as possible to all our talks and workshops
Workplace Culture: Taking the subtle and hidden workplace culture dynamics explored in our book, and exploring them further.
We promise to be flexible and easy to work with — we tailor our workshops and talks to fit the room as no two groups are identical.

I do think the messages about “smiling” and “laughter” were important reminders and strong takeaways for us."
